The Heavy Set is a chess table commissioned for a private client. This game, designed for a chess enthusiast, is made with 4 materials. The chess pieces are made of 103 pounds of bronze. The playing surface is etched glass, 1/4 inch thick, 25 inches by 25 inches. 4 brass pillars suspend the the board 2 inches above the mahogany table which is 3 feet in diameter and 20 inches high.
